i was torn on this one.

Vote - Shaman, but it could slide either way.

gotta admire Shaman’s braggadocious bullshit. consistent theme, funny line with the santa shit. decent closer, could’ve been worded better but the gist was there.

Slayerr had the line of the battle with the opener though. shit was dope. i feel like if that energy was kept as opposed to going in the direction of another verseman line & continued angle, it would’ve been an easy W.

in a short drop battle like this the consistency is what gets the vote for me & Shaman kept the same pace & dropped a more cohesive verse.

Shaman's seemed rushed, deffo seen better from him in cyphers but it's still early stages. The Slay / Sleigh wordplay is pretty worn out but being a relative newbie it's hard to criticise you too much for that.

Slayer's opening bar was class, respect. Wasn't feeling the verseman bar too much but the closer was aight, enough to edge the W against a vacation-mode Shaman IMO.

But I agree with bags the slay references are super Butchered vs him
It’s like somebody using a jackass reference vs Me even tho they was cute jabs, comes down creativity and execution
I gotta give this one to slayer I was gonna quote his ender also but it came down to both openers Vote/ Slay

Slayerr: More rhythmic interest and better flow. Gloat/float line seemed pretty weak, but the opener was solid.

TheShaman: Rhymes seemed a bit phoned in. Santa Clause line was clever – criticism of the overplayed “sleigh” reference aside.

Aye I’m late af I got quite a bit going on but I’m so excited the next few weeks for this tourney! Yo both did well ngl I liked shamans flow but punchline wise I cling close to slay I think the open and ending kinda edged it for me fair vote slay but it’s paper thin on this

his was okay but there wasn't enough of an attack in this bar for my liking. i see a theme of things being very tongue in cheek with you.

I have Slayerr taking this one with a very strong opener. Shaman had more consistency however i dont think that his bars had as much ferocity.
