Love Is....
Love comes in many forms,
It endures through stength and the test of time against the will of almost all other emotions.
Love is within the signs of devotion and happiness, love is an expression of all these things.
...Strength, wIll, devotion, happiness and most of all love is life.
We all love life when we have love in our life, it makes us happy.
There are so many ways to express sadness and anger,
But there is only one way to display a smile, and love generally creates that smile.
A love of comedy, a love of humour, the love of another,
Love is the one thing that always cherished and is never broken.
Just because you don't love somebody anymore, doesn't mean that your love never existed.
Its somewhere, its enlodged within your soul, within your mind.
Love is the one thing than can make your stomach turn and your heart beat,
It can make the eyes pop out of your head at the same time,
It causes you to focus on the main attraction of life.
Love is family, love is sex, love is holding hands on the beach and laughing,
But mostly love is considered comfortable, even though it never is.
Love is oftenly accompanied by jealousy, by envy and by all these other feelings you can't keep down,
Feelings you just can't put into words because they hurt to much.
Love hurts, love kills...
Love isn't just an emotion or a struggle, or even a single way of life.
Love isn't a religion or a new start,
Its not a positive path in this maze we all must escape to embrace death.
Love is life, there's no way around. We all love something,
We all love to need something, and we all need something that comes with love.
We all suffer from that utterly unexplainable feeling almost daily,
We wish we knew how to control it, but we love the unpredictablty it creates.
I love my life all the time, I love the fact that Im to selfish to die yet...
Love is the last rolo, love is desperation,
Love is a unity stronger than any unbreakable bond,
Love is real.

Damn dude, nearly ruined my eyes trying to read it!

However, it was well worth the strain on my eyes. This was amazing. Really liked this piece, really grasped the topic and really got the emotion written down. At first thoughts, i thought the flow would be all over the place, but it wasnt. Could quote the whole poem, but i'm not going to because why would you need to see it again?

Keep them coming, looking forward to reading more.

i agree. this font is far too small. i was struggling with this as well, but it was very nicely written. i liked how you repeated words throughout this piece. i like how you defined love as more then just a single emotion, but as being many events and actions as well. this was written very nicely. good job on this and dont let sleepers keep you from writing more poetic pieces like this one. very good for you first poem.

This was alright, but after reading it I had a feeling of "I've read/seen this before..". (relax, i'm not accusing you of biting) i'm just saying it was very common. I don't agree with DJB on the repition either. There were 3 lines in a row were you used 'happiness' or some form of the word happy, so to me some of it became redundant. Also, I didn't feel like anything different or unique was really being said here. Branch out, and find your voice.
