Consuming puny shadows
With the razor teeth of a serpent
slithering
A belly roughened by stone
Ruffled feathers
everyone takes their lumps
For the team, the party and affiliation
At this carnival tickets are distributed
in return for a pound of flesh
Wound deeply
Speak your words precise
or power may run astray
Hopefully returned to the grand masquerade
Where many a facade has been shattered
battered to a pulp, a fruit ingested through media
Our median to plug into the masterful show
America's carnival, the ride of your life

I like how your new pieces hint at alot of different directions of topic then it hits you with a definite hint....I like that about your writing now....Its actually fun to read....it keeps the reader guessing....

You gotta stop writing them short lines and worrying about how its gonna look to the reader Structure-wise.....just let Truth's emotion splatter the canvas with all its psychedelic colours....

Good read, I love the extended metaphor of politics being a carnival and the imagery was good but i feel that this wasn't your best as i've seen better from you. (Eg. Your superman poem in IE) overall a 7/10 stay up truth. pz
