What’s the malfunction?
Our dysfunction in conjunction
With the bullshit that you spit?
The horrible realization that
I have a bit too much to give
Is it… you? Is it me?
I understand it wasn’t meant to be
But recently I been seeking thee
right reasoning for our breezy fling
the plots deepening,
Weakening these shoulders meant to carry
Supposedly meant to marry,
With souls content with sharing
It was just preparing
Giving me the chance to make another happy
To keep a woman laughing
A feeble attempt at fateful casting
Catching…
A fistful of distaste
Direct shot to the face,
Caught with the minimum amount of grace
…wait… (Hopefully have a beat drop)
Let’s fake the funk for another couple minutes
Make that grimace, and chase it with another pint of Guinness
I can’t fix this
I’ve tried, poured my soul out
Just to see, you deal with me
Like “Yo, who’s in control now?”
I didn’t want to hold out
So I gave it all that I had
So sad, so mad
I took the punches without a pad
I’d be glad
To take it all out on you
To spout the truth
Sound and ruse
The forces I need to break through to the excuse
