What do you need help with?
Just basic shit man.
Like how to maybe move bits of a wave and shit.. simple stuff.
How to add an echo/double up thing on certain words etc..
All I know how to do is record.
Moving waves. I think you right-click the wave block and move it, but I haven't used Cool Edit to record in a while.
Echo's, highlight the part you want to echo and then go to Effects>Delay Effects. It has Reverb, echo, and oodles of other effects.
Are you talking about dubs?Quote:

I guess it's dubs.. no idea.
Alot of people use it in their audios I've noticed.
Like normally on the rhyming word.. theres a slight echo.. at least thats what it sounds like.. to make that word sound better.
Sometimes on full lines.
It's as if they've recorded that part twice and one is playing a tiny amount of time after/before.
Ok, for dubs, you simply record it on another track. And you can add some echo or reverb to it to spice it up.
the beats prolly in TRACK 1 right
the verse prolly in TRACK 2 right
in track three...make sure you got the R selected and turn the R off in track 2 (that way your not recording in both tracks) and then just record
you can do it for numerous things (put dubs, the infamous "diddy background shout outs,"add effects (car doors shuttin, the worn out gun shots, etc...)just follow the same pattern...this way you can individually change levels in the multitrack view!
